This board has been a cornerstone of the Landyachtz downhill lineup for nearly two decades, trusted by World Champions and numerous race winners. We saw some skaters ripping the pump track on the Evo 40 and the original Evo architect, Landyachtz Co-founder Tom Edstrand, got to work making it even more capable. Measuring 36″ in length and 9.5″ in width, with a wheelbase ranging from 28.8″ to 29.3″, the Evos dimensions are optimized for stability and control. The Cambered platform is very slight, but just enough to clear the rollers on pump tracks to avoid scraping. The nose truck mount is angled at +10%, providing more front-end steering, the tail truck mount in angled at -10%, reducing rear steering, these angles combine to provide ultimate control and stability. The deep concave and drop-down profile create secure foot pockets, enhancing rider confidence. The wheel cut outs allow for large wheels to be run while minimizing the risk of wheelbite. The best of both worlds-a low to the ground stable board that can handle large wheels.
